By joining Cultivating Impact’s CSA program, you can answer this question with confidence! Everything we provide to our members is grown on our CCOF-certified organic farm. And with weekly newsletters included in each share, you’ll learn all about the process of growing and harvesting produce, as well as suggestions on how to enjoy the fruits and veggies of our labors!
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and it’s one of the best ways you can support local, sustainable agriculture. By joining a CSA, you are committing your support to a farm for an entire season, and gaining the benefit of a direct connection with your food source, all while enjoying weekly harvests of fresh, organically grown produce. As a member of a CSA, you’ll improve your diet, try new foods and recipes, and save money-an average of 25% compared to grocery store prices!
Member Benefits: Members receive weekly harvests of our CCOF-certified organic produce, either by pick-up at the farm or at a drop-off location convenient for you. Each share has enough produce to feed 1-3 people for one week, depending on your diet.
Season: Our season runs for 26 weeks, from May 15th to November 15th. Contents vary week to week, but you can count on a minimum of 6 items, and up to 10 during the peak of the season! In all, we grow over 100 different varieties of vegetables and herbs on our farm, so you will receive all of your favorites along with a lot of new and exciting items. For a list of what we typically grow, please see our list below .
We also grow a variety of beautiful cut flowers. We offer the option of adding 10 bouquets to your membership, spaced out throughout the season as they become available.
Lastly, your weekly share comes with a newsletter from the farm, detailing what you have received, recipe suggestions and updates on the farm.
